Lent, Holy Week, and Easter
During Lent, we move toward Easter and celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Maundy Thursday, we remember Jesus’ Last Supper by sharing communion and observing the shadows of a candle-lit service. On Easter Sunday, we have a fellowship brunch and an Easter egg hunt before joyfully celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Reformation Sunday
In October, we celebrate Reformation Sunday in our service with special music, bagpipes, and more. Be looking for more information on our Reformation Fair as well.

Christmas Eve Service
Christmas Eve Candlelight services are held at 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary. A traditional service of joy and light with chancel choir and special music. Nursery provided.

Special Service and event times are occasionally subject to change; see our Facilities Calendar for up-to-date scheduling information.

Funerals & Memorial Services
When someone you love is dying or has died, we are here to provide spiritual support and assist with funeral or memorial service plans. With the help of volunteer Deacons, we can provide food for a simple reception at the church following the service. Elders and other volunteers serve as ushers and/or greeters for funeral and memorial services. We are here for you in your time of grief.
If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, come to a Faith & Grief Luncheon to be strengthened by food, inspiration, prayer and conversation with others who understand. People of all faiths are welcome. The Luncheon is on the second Wednesday each month, Noon – 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, in the Young Centre. There is no charge for the lunch; but please do make a reservation – and bring a friend! Donations are welcome.
