One of the ways FPC touches our community is through hosting Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs for children of all ages. Scout troops are constantly engaging new members of the community, and serving the community of which they are a part. We support that ideology of constant outreach and provide our resources to best support their needs for growth.

Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest values-based youth development organizations. They believe that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. It provides a variety of programs for young people of all ages, to help build character, teach the responsibilities of being a good citizen and member of the community, and developing personal fitness. First Presbyterian Church hosts several groups for boys of different ages.

The Cub Scout program is for boys and girls in grades 1-5. Cub Scouts is a family-oriented program designed to meet the needs of our younger boys and serves as an introduction to boy scouting. Our pack meets at 6 PM on the first and third Monday of each month and often participates in special activities and campouts. Contact us for more information about being a part of our pack.

Our Boy Scout program is for youths in grades 6-12. Boy Scouts teaches citizenship, ethics, and outdoorsmanship to young men and women, and gives them an opportunity to work through various ranks toward the coveted Eagle Scout award. Our troop meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM. Contact us for more information on becoming part of our troop.
